Mission

Since the financial crisis, the need for a new approach to understanding and predicting the macro economy has been obvious to all.

More generally, the track record going back over 50 years shows that  macro forecasting is very poor at  predicting turning points.  There are subtle non-linearities in the data which conventional techniques cannot capture.

In parallel, the rise of the internet economy means that new metrics are needed to measure the economy in the 21st century.

We have a scientific mission to push the boundaries and develop these new scientific approaches.

We believe that Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Agent Based Models have the potential to fulfil the mission.
